he Museum of Toys and Binus Alam Sutera in Tangerang City will present the Local Brand Festival 2024 from Sept. 27 to Oct. 6, at Flavor Bliss, Broadway Area. Featuring 140 booths, the festival will showcase hundreds of students from the university's business creation program, offering over 500 products—80 percent food and beverages and the rest fashion and retail items. Eka Maya Sari, a representative from Binus University, emphasized the importance of this festival in showcasing young entrepreneurs' creativity, noting collaborations with artists and public figures.
This initiative aims to inspire Gen Z to innovate and produce domestic products. The festival will also host engaging activities, including workshops, local product exhibitions and expert mentoring, supported by partnerships with Indonesia's creative community. Deasy Varianti, founder of the Museum of Toys, highlighted the strong creative spirit of Binus students and the collaborative potential of this partnership.
Influencer Anugrah Aditya, founder of Jakarta Sneakers Day, added that the festival would foster an entrepreneurial spirit and promote domestic products through meaningful discussions and idea exchanges. The event promises to be a vibrant platform for creativity and collaboration.
