T Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing education quality in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas. In a collaborative effort among Jamkrindo, Askrindo and IBK Bank Indonesia, PNM spearheaded the renovation of TK Mewardi Siwi, a kindergarten in Dusun Butuh, Temanggung village, Magelang regency.
The renovation aims to create a more comfortable, safe and supportive learning environment for the children in the area. After serving the community for years, TK Mewardi Siwi now boasts improved classrooms thanks to active contributions from local residents. The project was marked by the presence of Temanggung village head Muslih and Dusun Butuh head Lilik Setyawan. Additionally, nutritional aid packages were provided to the school as part of the commitment from the involved institutions to support sustainable education.
PNM president director Arief Mulyadi emphasized the importance of education as the best investment for shaping Indonesia’s golden generation. “The renovation of this kindergarten is part of our tangible contribution to the community, particularly in fostering a superior future generation. When the learning environment is comfortable, children can study more effectively and enthusiastically,” he said.
The renovation initiative is part of a corporate social responsibility program focused on community empowerment, education and children’s welfare.
“In line with our motto, ‘Grow, Care, Inspire’, we hope this program will nurture talented children from rural areas, encourage community awareness about education and inspire others to contribute to a brighter future for Indonesia,” Arief added.
PNM envisions that this renovation will not only provide short-term benefits through improved facilities, but also long-term impacts in fostering intelligent, creative and virtuous future generations.
