Inkonsistensi terkait rumah mungil dapat merusak program perumahan

Para ahli memperingatkan bahwa internal Kementerian PKP yang tidak satu suara atas rencana rumah "mini" dapat menyebabkan kebingungan di kalangan investor. Pada akhirnya, hal itu dapat menggagalkan program utama Presiden.

Kementerian Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman (PKP) telah mengomunikasikan hal yang membingungkan terkait rencana untuk membangun rumah bersubsidi seluas hanya 18 meter persegi. Rumah mungil ini merupakan program utama Presiden Prabowo Subianto, yaitu program "3 juta rumah".

Di tengah pertanyaan tentang kelayakan huni rumah kecil tersebut, para ahli memperingatkan bahwa pernyataan yang saling bertentangan dari Kementerian PKP dapat membuat pengembang tidak mempercayai arah program di masa mendatang. Hal itu memperlambat pembangunan rumah yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengurangi kekurangan hunian, yang berpotensi menggagalkan peta jalan perumahan yang disusun Presiden.

Awal bulan ini, sebuah rancangan keputusan bocor, mengungkapkan rencana kementerian untuk mengurangi ukuran minimum lahan untuk rumah bersubsidi. Saat ini, rumah bersubsidi didirikan di atas tanah berukuran 60 meter persegi. Luasan lahan tersebut dijadikan hanya 25 meter persegi. Sedangkan luas tapak bangunan minimum dikurangi dari 21 menjadi 18 meter persegi.

Menteri PKP Maruarar “Ara” Sirait tampaknya mendukung gagasan tersebut. Ia bahkan telah meminta bantuan konglomerat properti Lippo Group untuk mewujudkannya. Sang pengembang lalu memajang tiruan rumah “mini” seluas 14 meter persegi tersebut, di salah satu pusat perbelanjaannya di Jakarta Selatan.
