Kejagung akan panggil Riza Chalid, yang keberadaannya belum diketahui

Pihak Kejagung yakin bahwa taipan minyak Riza Chalid, yang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dalam kasus korupsi yang melibatkan PT. Pertamina, akan bersikap kooperatif jelang pemeriksaan pertamanya yang dijadwalkan pada 24 Juli.

Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) akan memanggil taipan minyak Muhammad Riza Chalid dari luar negeri untuk diperiksa sebagai tersangka dalam kasus korupsi, meskipun keberadaannya belum diketahui. Kasus tersebut berkaitan dengan perusahaan minyak dan gas milik negara, PT. Pertamina.

“Pemeriksaan dijadwalkan berlangsung minggu depan,” kata Kepala Pusat Penerangan Hukum Kejaksaan Agung, Anang Supriatna, kepada The Jakarta Post, pada Kamis 24 Juli.

Ketika pekan lalu Riza ditetapkan sebagai tersangka, penyidik mengakui bahwa yang bersangkutan sedang berada di luar negeri dan sebelumnya tidak hadir setidaknya dalam tiga kali pemeriksaan. Ia dikabarkan berada di Singapura.

Abdul Qohar, yang saat itu menjabat sebagai Jaksa Agung Muda Bidang Tindak Pidana Khusus (Jampidsus), mengatakan bahwa penyidik Kejagung akan berkoordinasi dengan perwakilan di Singapura untuk mencari dan menangkap Riza.

Namun, Anang mengatakan bahwa saat ini Kejagung belum dapat memastikan keberadaan Riza. "Masih diselidiki. Namun, kami telah menerima pernyataan resmi dari Singapura bahwa beliau tidak berada di sana," kata Anang.
