It's somewhat strange that martabak durian is nowhere to be found, except in a few places like Martabak Bandung Raya. So, durian lovers, simply head to Fatmawati in South Jakarta to taste its delicious version of martabak durian.
Sop Duren 88 is a durian dessert specialist that serves many interesting choices of dessert-inspired soups as well as other things like serabi (rice flour pancake), durian juice and even a coffee shake with durian. One of the best things to try here is the sop duren pisang hijau (durian and green banana dessert), which is a unique combination between two fruits.
Everybody knows how legendary Ragusa is as an ice cream parlor in Jakarta. Presenting a simple concept of traditional Italian ice cream, the most famous ice cream at this place is actually the spaghetti ice cream. For the sake of nostalgia, try its premium ice cream menu item, consisting of several flavors including the phenomenal durian.

If Sop Duren 88 specializes as the ultimate place to enjoy different kinds of durian, Bakmi Es Duren 45 has a special treat to complete your meal. Serving tasty meals like bakmi ayam (chicken noodle) and kwetiaw goreng (fried Chinese noodle), many people have joined the tradition in Bakmi Es Duren 45 by ordering es duren (durian smoothie) to complete their culinary experience.
If you are bored with street foods such as pisang goreng (fried banana) or any other common gorengan (fried snacks), try durian goreng (fried durian) at this restaurant. That's right, durian goreng is battered and fried sweet durian served in several pieces on one plate. It's good for sharing with your friends or family.
Finding a good restaurant with awesome dessert is not that difficult in Jakarta, but not many of them offer a thin crepe-like pancake filled with durian. Sari Laut Jala Jala is one of those few places. Located in Kuningan City in South Jakarta, this place is considered to be quite affordable for a restaurant in a mall and apparently serves durian pancakes as well for dessert, which is quite rare in the capital city.
