ogyakarta is set to a host video mapping show at the Jogja National Museum on Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. as part of a city arts festival.

The annual Jogjakarta Video Mapping Project (JVMP) previously held a similar show on Wednesday at Taman Budaya Yogyakarta.

For this upcoming show, the JVMP has added interactive elements to engage with the audience using augmented reality and had invited the public to participate through a registration process it held Aug. 2 to 17.

Wednesday's event featured the works of Kevin Rajabuan and Bernadetha Sarinande entitled Warna Hari Ini Dulu (Today's Colors First); Isha Hening’s No Title; works by Dhanank Pambayun, Yennu Ariendra and Raphael Donny entitled Purwa Netra; and Lepaskendali with End of Era. Meanwhile, for the upcoming event at the museum, the JVMP will also feature a collaboration with 28 elementary students who won a drawing competition of a building façade formerly known as the ASRI building.

"We want to show that the JVMP is not just about videos or motion graphics; we can also incorporate other content such as children's drawings," said the project's coordinator Raphael Donny.

Meanwhile, the Yogyakarta Arts Festival (FKY) is slated to run until Sept. 9 at Taman Kuliner Condongcatur in Sleman. (kha/kes)
