em>Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has yet to hit cinemas but fans have already been given teasers for its upcoming sequel. One of them includes the return of a beloved character (sadly, not Dobby).

Harry Potter spin-off, the Fantastic Beasts franchise is awaited by millions of loyal fans -- making it a waste to make just one movie out of the thin, 100-page book. JK Rowling confirmed there would be five movies in the series.

If the first Fantastic Beasts movie is set in 1926 New York, the second one will be set in the UK, where Harry Potter and friends also reside. Harry Potter and now Fantastic Beasts director David Yates confirmed, however, that the story would be larger than the UK. "It’s UK and Paris. I’m not sure where Jo is setting the rest of the movies, but they’ll be European-centric," Yates said in a roundtable interview with The Leaky Cauldron.

Another surprise is the return of the old and beloved Dumbledore, who died in the sixth Harry Potter book and movie (sorry for the spoiler, but it happened 10 years ago).

Although Fantastic Beasts will center on Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), fans can now assume that we will see the legendary Dumbledore-Grindewald rivalry mentioned throughout the original Harry Potter series.

Gellert Grindelwald is a dark wizard who was beaten by Dumbledore in 1945, in a battle coincides with the fall of Nazi Germany. It is likely that Newt will return to Europe to see the beginning of Grindelwald's reign of terror, with magical beasts appearing less in the sequel. A character from the first movie, Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller), will also make an appearance.

Whoever is chosen to take Dumbledore's robe will have to balance Johnny Depp's charm, as the actor has been cast to play Grindewald.

Producer David Heyman stated that Depp's casting was based on his solid performances in many movies, most notably as the flamboyant pirate Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and the iconic Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's Alice's Adventure in Wonderland. “Grindelwald is an iconic character, so it's important to have someone who had that weight," said Heyman.

Many are angered by the decision to cast Depp due to his domestic abuse allegations. (kes)
