The BBC has released a new teaser clip for the upcoming season of Sherlock, which will start in early 2017.

The British broadcaster recently aired the clip on its television channel BBC One, but it did not give too much away to begin with. In the video, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman’s Doctor Watson can be seen facing each other in a room with the caption, “It’s not a game anymore”.

Turning Jakarta’s overlooked sidewalks into common ground

In a city built for cars, sidewalks often feel like an afterthought. But revitalized stretches in Jakarta are proving that these in-between spaces have the power to shape not just how we move, but how we connect and belong.

BBC reported that the first episode of the fourth season will air on New Year’s Day, marking a three-year gap from the last season’s final episode in 2014. It has been revealed that the series will begin with Sherlock coming back to British soil, and Watson and Mary being parents to their first child.

Overall, other than the visuals provided in the clip, such as Sherlock and Watson surrounded with a pool of blood, the teaser did not give a lot away to fans. (fmn/kes)
