“By capturing three raw shots and merging them on the phone, you'll get a greatly increased dynamic range with the ability to edit and share right away,” wrote Adobe on its official blog. Users can later edit their photo on their smartphone, ranging from exposure to adjustments.

This new feature can be downloaded for free and users will not have to register as members of Adobe Creative Cloud. However, transforming desktop-caliber algorithms to mobile devices will require certain devices to allow the app to run smoothly, namely iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus and iPhone SE; iPad Pro 9.7”, Samsung S7 and S7 Edge; and Google Pixel and Pixel XL.
