While many companies have decided to ride the wave with messages of change and coming together, some have done better than others.

After Pepsi faced harsh criticism for its ad featuring model Kendall Jenner “solving” a protest by giving a cop a Pepsi, social media had much kinder words for Heineken's latest ad.

Twitter users responded positively.

“This was absolutely incredible. I'm in awe of Heineken right now,” posted YouTuber Marlon Palmer.

“This is brilliant. This is what it's ALL ABOUT. Go @Heineken,” tweeted actress and comedian Sarah Silverman. (sul/kes)
