nline grocery shopping platform HappyFresh Indonesia invites users to make donations during Ramadhan through a program titled Shop-It-Forward.

During the program slated to run until June 14, users can access the Ramadhan Special category on HappyFresh’s website or mobile app and click the Donation sub-category. Users will later find five necessities under the sub-category, which include Rose Brand Premium Sugar 1 kg, Filma oil 1L, Botan canned sardine 425g, Indomilk sweetened condensed milk 375g and Sariwangi tea 50 bags x 1.85 g. Each item purchased will be collected and donated by the company to Al’Khairiyah orphanage in Cilandak, South Jakarta during an iftar (breaking-of-the- fast meal) event with the children scheduled on June 19.

“We believe Ramadhan is the right moment to share with others, thus we want to invite and facilitate our customers to donate to those who are in need,” said Fillipo Candrini, managing director of HappyFresh Indonesia.

The Shop-It-Forward program is part of HappyFresh’s Fasting is Sharing Ramadhan campaign. The program's report will be announced on HappyFresh’s social media and newsletter on June 20. (kes)
