exas-based auction house Heritage Auctions is offering rare Apple sneakers at its Beverly Hills premises with a bidding price starting from US$15,000 on Sunday.
The shoes were said to have been created in the early 1990s by the tech giant Apple Inc.
On the website, Heritage Auctions mentions that the US size 9.5 shoes were produced by Apple exclusively for its employees in the early 1990s.
The sneakers are forecast to go for over $30,000 in the auction.

According to BitRebel as quoted by Business Insider, the white Adidas-style leather sneakers with the classic Apple rainbow logo were later sold to the company’s employee in the mid-90s.
Meanwhile, CNET reported that in 2007 a rare pair of Apple sneakers in US size 8.5 were sold on eBay for $79.
Over the years, the kicks’ whereabouts were unknown until a friend of Leon Benrimon, the auction house's director of modern and contemporary art, discovered the Apple sneakers at a garage sale in San Francisco. (kes)
