wo members of South Korean boy group Super Junior, Lee Dong-Hae and Eunhyuk, and South Korean actress Song Ji-hyo are currently raising fund for children with cancer in Indonesia via local crowdfunding website Kitabisa.com.

The celebrities reportedly visited Jakarta for the opening of Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo (KBEE) at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel in South Jakarta.

In addition to performing at the event, the trio wanted to help children with cancer in Indonesia. The entire donation will go to five cancer organizations.

The celebrities stated on Kitabisa’s page that the fund will be used to cover the children’s medical bills and help them get proper treatments.

According to tempo.co, the event was held to develop investment and trade relationship between South Korea and Indonesia. The crowdfunding itself serves as its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. (jes/kes)
