British-based shoe manufacturer and retailer Clarks is currently offering huge discounts at all of its outlets in Indonesia.
The move is said to be part of a closing-down sale following plans to shut down the outlets.
According to kompas.com on Wednesday, the retailer was handing out discounts of between 50 and 80 percent, as well as an additional discount of 20 percent on top of that.
Promoting the move with an "Everything must go!" announcement since Jan. 6, those making purchases using debit or credit cards will also receive a 50 percent discount.
Those purchasing one product is said to receive an additional 10 percent discount. When buying two, they will get off an extra 15 percent. Meanwhile, customers purchasing three products can expect to receive an additional 20 percent discount.
Kompas.com is said to have contacted Clarks' sole agent in Indonesia, PT Anglo Distrindo Antara, regarding the news but has not yet received an answer. (kes)
