Bali band Navicula raises funds for bassist after car accident

Bali-based grunge band Navicula is raising funds for its bassist, I Made Indra, who is receiving intensive care at the Sanglah General Hospital in Denpasar following a car accident on Saturday.

ali-based grunge band Navicula is raising funds for its bassist, Made Indra, who is receiving intensive care at the Sanglah General Hospital in Denpasar following a car accident on Saturday.

According to an announcement on the band's social media accounts, those who want to donate for Made’s treatment or the funeral of Made’s girlfriend Afi, who passed away in the accident, can do so through Navicula vocalist I Gede Roby Supriyanto.

Made and Afi were involved in a car accident on their way to Denpasar on Saturday at 12:45 a.m.

The band has announced that it is in the process of delivering Afi’s body to her hometown of Yogyakarta. In remembrance of her, Roby posted a poem for Afi on Instagram.

“Thank you for friends and relatives who pray and give their support to Made. [We] hope he [will soon] pass critical condition,” read the band’s statement on another post. “Please pray for Afi’s soul. May she rest in peace.” (wira/kes)
