ctor Robert De Niro has frequently railed against United States President Donald Trump, blatantly saying the president was a mad man and comparing him to Colonel Sanders’ fried chicken.
Recently, De Niro told the Daily Mail that Trump would be stopped from entering Nobu, a restaurant he co-owns with chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa, Drew Nieporent and Meir Teper.
De Niro said, as quoted by the Daily Mail, “I don’t care what he likes. If he walked into a restaurant I was in, I’d walk out.”

However, De Niro’s representative told The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday that Trump was still allowed to dine at Nobu and that the actor had not banned anyone from dining at the restaurant.
Meanwhile, on a lighter note, Nobu said it was his dream to sit Trump next to De Niro and make them sushi. Since no one is banned, there is a possibility that Nobu’s dream may come true. (jes/wng)
