Rimowa and Off-White have come up with a playful take on privacy and surveillance with a unique transparent suitcase design.
uxury luggage brand Rimowa and Italian streetwear label Off-White have unveiled a collaboration piece, a transparent polycarbonate carry-on case.
According to a statement released by the brand, the design is a brazen yet playful response to today's obsessive talk of privacy, surveillance and anonymity.
Further, to reflect Off-White's unique style, the suitcase features accented black handles, wheels and labeling on the locks, as well as telescopic handles.
Established in Milan in 2013, Off-White was founded by American fashion designer and Louis Vuitton's menswear artistic director Virgil Abloh.
"This collaboration was an experimentation where we studied traveling and one's emotional connection to their own personal belongings," Virgil said in the statement.

With a transparent frame and no interior lining, the suitcase instead includes a Flex-Divider system in black and customized bags for efficient packing.
Set to be launch on June 20 during the Off-White men fashion show in Paris, the suitcase is slated to be available in select stores five days later. (liz/kes)
