Hollywood actor George Clooney was reportedly involved in a motorbike accident in Sardina, Italy, on Tuesday.

Police told NBC’s Claudio Lavanga, as quoted by People, that the accident happened after a car driver “did not respect the right of the highway”.

The reckless driver hit Clooney, which caused him to fall off of his scooter.

The accident occurred near Costa Corallina, Olbia province.

Lavanga mentioned that the driver then called an ambulance, and Clooney was rushed to the emergency room of the John Paul II hospital.

Italian newspaper La Nuova Sardegna reported that the actor complained of bruises and slight trauma to his pelvis. He also underwent a MRI.

Fortunately, Clooney’s condition was not serious and the 57-year-old actor reportedly had been discharged from the hospital. (jes/kes)
