Masha, the Bear and other characters from Russian animation series Masha and The Bear will come alive and visit their Indonesian fans in August.
em>Masha and The Bear on Ice, a live performance based on Russian animation series Masha and The Bear, is set to be held on Aug. 19 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD in Tangerang.
The performance, which will bring over 30 skaters, dancers and acrobats from Slovakia, is said to be covered in visualization using modern technology. The event, reportedly the first in Asia, will have three shows on the same day at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Initially, the performances were scheduled to be held from June 29 to July 1, but the plan was canceled due to technical problems.
Produced by Moscow-based Animaccord Animation Studio, Masha and The Bear follows the lives of energetic, little girl Masha and her friend Bear.
Tickets can be purchased through the performance’s official website, while tickets can also be bought offline from Aug. 1 to 19 at Gandaria City shopping mall and Kota Kasablanka shopping mall in South Jakarta. Prices start at Rp 250,000 ($17) for the bronze category. (wir/mut)
