Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor is now in the premium Montblanc Summit watch.
In the wake of the new Apple Watch Series 4, Montblanc has announced the Summit 2 watch, in collaboration with Qualcomm.
Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor is now in the premium Montblanc Summit watch, priced at US$995, The Verge wrote.
The many features of the smartchip include a low-power secondary processor that is said to offer a week’s worth of battery life in a “Time Only mode”, among other things.
Spec improvements over the original Summit include an increase in RAM from 512MB to 1GB, internal storage space increase to 8GB from 4GB and superior ambient display. The high-end hardware is encased in 14.3mm thick glass with a screen size of 1.2 inches that runs on the Wear OS 2.1 system.
The new version comes in just over a year, with the original Summit having been revealed in March of last year.
