Haluu World cofounder Dio Santoso said the installations were tailor-made for Instagram’s candy-colored aesthetics.

“This is our third exhibition. We launched this new concept for people who are looking to post unique content on their Instagram,” Dio said on Wednesday as quoted by Antara news agency.

He said he had decided on the balloon theme as it symbolized happiness during the holiday.

“'Baluun' embodies joy. We just want people to feel happy,” he added.

The exhibition features 12 installations, each with its own distinctive balloon shapes and colors. In one of the installations, visitors may have their photos taken with life-size plushies resembling various kitchen utensils and food items.

Visitors looking for a more nostalgic experience may opt to revisit their childhood by playing in a balloon pool, one of the installations at the exhibition.

Baluun by Haluu, which is located on the fifth floor of Plaza Indonesia, will run until August. Tickets cost Rp 100,000 (US$7) on the weekdays and Rp 120,000 on the weekends. (rfa/kes)
