he next Fashion For Relief charity gala, which raises funds for various environmental and humanitarian causes, will be held in London on September 14 during Fashion Week.
Naomi Campbell is the spokesperson for the evening which will include a major fashion show.
Founded in 2005 to help victims of Hurricane Katrina in the US, Fashion For Relief has since supported many causes. The aim is to bring the fashion industry together to raise as much money as possible to help people affected by natural disasters or humanitarian crises, but also to promote equal opportunity, diversity and inclusiveness.
As in previous years, the show will start with a cocktail reception, followed by a fashion show and an auction. Guests will then enjoy a gala dinner and a musical performance.
Since its creation, Fashion For Relief has raised no less than 15 million euros to support causes such as the UK flood victims in 2007, the earthquake in Haiti, and the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
