Optical shops provide delivery services amid COVID-19 pandemic
A number of optical shops are featuring a delivery service to help their customers amid the pandemic.

n this time of physical distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19, numerous stores are providing delivery services for their customers, including optical shops.
Below is a list of such outlets.
Optik Melawai
Those who need to buy new pairs of glasses or have their eyes checked may contact Optik Melawai as the optical shop is providing an Online to Home service.
Customers living in Greater Jakarta can make use the service by choosing a minimum of four frames on Optik Melawai's website and select the "Online to Home" menu. The opticians will later bring the four selected frames to their place for them to choose one for purchasing.
Those needing to have an eye test (refraction) can also have the opticians -- who will be wearing face masks, face shields and gloves -- come to their place bringing previously disinfected equipment.
For those who prefer to visit the physical stores, Optik Melawai has listed its outlets that are still open.

Optik Seis
Optik Seis is also offering home delivery for customers who purchase glasses on its website.
A number of Optik Seis outlets remain open and the list is available on its Instagram account.

Optik Tunggal is providing the Optik Tunggal Mobile Experience for those who need to replace their glasses, buy new frames or lenses or buy contact lens solution.
Customers can contact the optical shop via WhatsApp or e-mail by including their names, phone numbers, addresses and their needs. Customers can also include information about any previous purchase at the shop to help the staff check their medical history.
Additionally, the delivery process implements COVID-19 preventive measures. The delivery staff will wear masks and gloves throughout the process. All equipment is also cleaned with disinfecting tissue or alcohol, including the customers' glasses.
