HBO GO to release second season of 'Twilight Zone' reboot in late June A still from 'The Twilight Zone.' (HBO/File)

The entire second season of The Twilight Zone reboot is set to premiere exclusively on HBO GO on June 25.

All 10 episodes will be available at the launch, the same time as the United States, according to a statement.

The first season of the series is available on HBO GO to be streamed or downloaded if audiences need to catch up.

The Twilight Zone is a reboot of the 1959 anthological television series of the same name. The original Twilight Zone was created by Rod Sterling and features different stories in each of its episodes, although all of them are set in an unusual and extraordinary circumstance, therefore entering the “twilight zone.”

The reboot features similar motifs and themes along with the same anthological format as its predecessor. Although what sets the reboot apart from its original is how it tackles modern day issues of racism and social media culture, along with a racially diverse cast.

The sophomore installment of the show is set to tackle similar themes as the first season, although it aims to dive even deeper into the uncomfortable parts of the individual and collective societal psyche. This can be seen in the trailer below which takes on a creepy and surreal atmosphere.

Oscar-winner Jordan Peele is set to return as the host and he is joined by a stellar ensemble cast, including Morena Baccarin, Kylie Bunbury, Jenna Elfman, Ethan Embry, Sky Ferreira, Tavi Gevinson, Topher Grace, Tony Hale, Gillian Jacobs, David Krumholtz, Thomas Lennon, Sophia Macy, Natalie Martinez, Joel McHale, Christopher Meloni, Gretchen Mol, Paula Newsome, Billy Porter, Jimmi Simpson, Jurnee Smollett, Daniel Sunjata, Damon Wayans Jr. and more.

The Twilight Zone is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. In addition to Peele and Kinberg, Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Alex Rubens, Glen Morgan, Carol Sterling, and Rick Berg are also executive producing the series. (cal/kes)
