DENPASAR: Model-cum-television host Olga Lidya loaned her name to a newborn baby tiger (Panthera Leo) at Bali Safari and Marine Park in Gianyar, Bali.

The 32-year-old model visited the park over the weekend and watched three African adult tigers with three baby tigers. After finding out two of the baby tigers had been named "Chibi" and "Bima", she offered her name to the youngest, unnamed baby tiger.

"It's proof that I love animals...," she told Antara.

Olga, who was born in Jakarta Dec. 4, 1976, had her picture taken with the female "Chibi", which was born on Nov. 16 last year. The male "Bima", born Dec. 26 last year, is still under special care.

The newly born female "Olga", which was born Jan. 6 this year, is still with its parents. --JP
