AKARTA: Vice President Boediono is expected to work closer with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono now that a project to set up a new office for him is nearing completion.

The new office will be on Jl. Veteran III, which is only a few yards away from the State Palace.

The office of the Vice President said the project to convert the previous Supreme Advisory Council (DPA) building into a new office for Boediono would be completed during the middle of this year.

Secretary to the Vice President Muhammad Oemar said that all staff from the old office on Jl. Kebon Sirih would move to the new office.

Oemar said that Boediono, however, would continue to use the old office to host guests who come in large groups.
