our comments on the recent Java Jazz Festival, which presented dozens of prominent international performers, allowing Indonesian jazz lovers to indulge their passion:

It is so cool. They are exact and proper to be Java Jazz performers. But the Indonesian maestro of jazz, Bubi Chen, passed away a little time before Java Jazz. RIP Bubi Chen.

Erika Leony

It is good, but the tickets are just so expensive. Any ideas about how to bring “cheaper” jazz performances?

Or is jazz so exclusive that the shows should be expensive?

Stefanus Angga

It is good for them, but I don’t like jazz all that much.

Taco de Vries

I don’t think there was as much jazz as there used to be.

Koko Wijanarko

Music is good for youth. It makes the kids and youth study music, thus keeping them away from street brawls. Music refines our children, too.

This means that Jakarta is safe with the presence of dozens of prominent performers. Hoping everything will be all right so to convince them to hold other festivals.
