AKARTA: Two failed marriages seem to have taught actress Desy Ratnasari to not hurry love.

The 38-year-old said she doesn’t plan to marry her boyfriend Irwan Danny Musri anytime soon, despite their having been together for seven years.

“I don’t have any intention of officializing [our relationship] with the KUA [Religious Affairs Office],” she said as quoted by detikhot.com on Thursday.

The mother of one said she wanted to take things slow before making the big decision in order to try and ensure that the marriage will not end in failure.

The star first married her boyfriend from school, Trenady Pramudya, in February 1999 but the marriage only lasted a year, and they divorced in 2000. Desy then married businessman Sammy Hamzah in December 2001, but they separated two years later in March 2003.
