he Gorontalo Police have arrested two journalistswho work in local media outlets, identified only as RWS and RL, forpossessing crystal methamphetamine, which is known locally as shabu-shabu.

The police confiscated three grams of the substance from them.

'€œThe two journalists, along with another man identified as MK who was also arrested, have been our target for a month,'€ Gorontalo Police spokesman Adj. Comr. Lisma Dunggio said on Friday.

He said the police were still developing the case to establish whether they were users or drug dealers. He said if they were proven guilty then they could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. (dic)
