Outsourced workers threaten electricity shut down

O

utsourced employees at state-owned enterprises have threatened to shut down electricity on Oct. 27 unless their demands for better treatment from their employers are fulfilled.

'€œMany of our colleagues, particularly at the state-owned Electricity Company (PLN), have been ousted without receiving their rights as employees,'€ State-owned Enterprise Workers'€™ Movement (Geber) coordinator Musrianto said as quoted by Kontan.co.id on Monday.

Musrianto said that apart from the electricity shut down, workers of public transportation in ports, airports and trains would also strike.
