ctress Asmirandah has said that she and her boyfriend, actor Jonas Rivanno, or Vanno, intend to get married in January next year if everything goes to plan.

She said in a press conference that because she and Vanno followed different religions, they had faced stumbling blocks. However, she asked entertainment reporters to not kick up too much of a fuss as they were looking for a solution.

'The matter does not concern the media. We are just trying to iron this out,' she said as quoted by kompas.com.

She was referring to a barrage of media outlets reporting that Vanno had converted to Islam.

'We only ask for your best wishes. We want to enter this union because we are happy. One thing we can confirm is that we're getting married in January 2014. We thank you for your best wishes,' she said.
