AKARTA: PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) has commenced a program called 'BNI Taplus Anak Goes to Tokyo Disneyland', a drawing contest with a trip to Tokyo up for grabs for the winner.
The program will run from May through June, 2014.
BNI said that the program was the bank's way of appreciating youngsters' use of BNI's superior products, one of which is BNI Taplus Anak.
This special saving program is targeted at children and teenagers, with maximum age of 17 years.
'The program aims to foster the love of saving among children from an early age,' said Darmadji, a spokesman for the bank's saving product.
'Indonesian youngsters still have a low awareness about the need to save their money at early age. Hopefully, the program will foster this,' he said.
To date, BNI's third party funds collected through BNI Taplus Anak product reached Rp 1.25 trillion (US$108 million), thanks to its 698,962 customers.
