ix integrated bus network (APTB) providers have agreed to operate under the coordination of city-owned bus operator PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta).
Transjakarta president director ANS. Kosasih said on Saturday that the participating operators consisted of PT Anugrah Mas, PT Bianglala Metropolitan, PT Mayasari Bakti, PT Hiba Utama, PT Sinar Jaya Megah Langgeng and Perum PPD.
'Like Transjakarta bus operators, they will be paid per kilometer,' he said, adding that he was sure that the providers' income would be greater under the new management.
Currently, he added, both parties were discussing the tariff amount.
'The decision will be made within the week,' Kosasih said as quoted by beritajakarta.com. He added that under Transjakarta's management, the APTB feeder buses would join the electronic ticketing (e-ticketing) system starting from March. (***)
