A suspicious bag left on a road side some 300 meters from the house of Australian consul general in Sanur, Bali, frightened local residents on Saturday.

Denpasar Police chief Sr. Comr. Anak Agung Made Sudana said the Gegana bomb squad deployed to the scene to examine the bag after local residents reported the bag to the police at around 11:30 a.m.

"We checked the bag. It contains no dangerous materials," Sudana told The Jakarta Post.

The Bali Police Mobile Brigade chief Sr. Comr. Rudy Harianto said the Gegana team found that the bag contained a pump, a cable, a tube of sunblock and money. "There were also two foreign driver's licenses," Rudy said.
