Actor Fachri Albar says that he wants people to recognize him by the roles that he plays in films. Therefore, Fachri is quite selective in taking film projects.
'As an actor, I want to do roles that are memorable for my audiences. So, even if I don't get engaged in a film project for some time, people will still recognize me,' said Fachri, 33, as quoted by kompas.com.
As a consequence, Fachri, the son of rocker Ahmad Albar, admitted that he has only played in nine movies since he got into the industry 10 years ago.
The husband of model Renata Kusmanto said that he mostly took movie projects based on storylines, directors as well as other cast members.
'I don't mind if I only appear for few minutes in the movie as long as I like the storyline and the director,' added the father of River Syech Albar.
Fachri took part in films such as Alexandria in 2005, Kala (The Secret) in 2007 and Pintu Terlarang (Forbidden Door) in 2009.
