ctor Herjunot Ali decided to take piano lessons to reach a basic level for his latest film.

Junot, as he is fondly called, plays a pianist in Sunshine Becomes You, an adaptation of a novel of the same title by Ilana Tan. Himself a piano player, Junot said his skills had become a bit rusty.

'€œI need to practice on my gestures for shooting purposes, I don'€™t want to look stiff,'€ he said as reported by kapanlagi.com on Thursday.

Junot plays Alex Hirano, a New York pianist. The film'€™s other cast members include Boy William and singer Nabilah, a member of girl group JKT48.

The 30-year-old actor known for his role in Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijk (The Sinking of Van Der Wijk), said he was impressed with the experience of shooting abroad. '€œNew York is a beautiful city. Being away working and return with high production value is a valuable experience.'€
