Guess what?: Ashanty supports Aurel'€™s DJ career

J

AKARTA: Singer Ashanty gladly supports the aspiration of her teenage daughter Aurel Hermansyah to become a DJ.

Ashanty says it is better for Aurel to come to a night club as a professional DJ rather than just have fun there.

'€œComing to a club just to listen to music seems pointless,'€ she told tribunnews.com recently.

'€œI prefer Aurel to come to the club and produce something,'€ Ashanty said.

It appears that the whole family has gone overboard for Aurel'€™s new musical endeavor.

Her father, songwriter and singer Anang Hermansyah, has bought a turntable for Aurel and hired a professional DJ to give her private lessons.

'€œI chose DJing because it seems fun. I am trained by a DJ, who comes regularly to my house,'€ Aurel said.
