uradelta Lestari, a listed property company controlled by Sinarmas group, is holding negotiations with two potential investors who are interested in buying land on its industrial estate Deltamas.

Amid the economic slowdown, the company is still optimistic in commercial and residential projects as the country's manufacturing sector is still thriving, says Puradelta Lestari director Tondy Suwanto.

“If the negotiation with the two prospective buyers is successful, Puradelta will be an inch-closer to register its marketing sales target of 50 hectares of land for this year,” he said on Tuesday in Jakarta.

Deltamas is an industrial park located in Eastern Jakarta with a self-sustained integrated township. Several global investors, such as Mitsubishi and Suzuki, have established their manufacturing facilities there.

Sinarmas controls Puradelta through AFP International Capital Pte Ltd that owns 63.87 percent in the property company.

Puradelta recorded Rp 7.7 trillion (US$584.7 million) of asset as of March 2016, with liquidity of more than Rp 1 trillion and Rp 7.4 trillion of equity. It has zero liabilities, giving the company more room to expand. (ags)
