View all search resultsunukan Police have arrested four suspected drug-traffickers onboard Bukit Siguntang, a boat docked at Tunon Taka, North Kalimantan. The suspects were about to depart for Pare-Pare, South Sulawesi.
Police seized three kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, locally known as shabu shabu from the suspects, identified as Andi Hasdar, 22, Karaye, 42, Ruslan, 30, and Asri, 29.
Police later apprehended an additional suspect identified as Wella, who allegedly runs the drug syndicate from inside his cell at Balikpapan prison.
As the police continue to investigate the case, according to Tribunnews.com, reporters have been barred from interviewing and or taking photographs of the suspects. Police believe that there are others involved in the drug-trafficking ring.
Nunukan Police also reportedly confiscated a car, three motorcycles, and eight cell phones. (dmr)
