rade Minister Thomas Lembong hosted an open house gathering at his office on Thursday to celebrate Idul Fitri with his employees, business people and trade envoys.

Accompanied by his wife, Franciska Wihardja and his two children Maxwell and Thalia, Thomas welcomed guests at the ministry office's auditorium wearing a dark batik shirt.

The minister also invited former trade ministers, namely Marie Elka Pangestu and Rachmat Gobel, and former deputy trade minister Bayu Khrisnamurti.

The State Logistics Agency (Bulog) head Djarot Kusumayakti was also seen among the guests.

This is the first time for Thomas to hold an open house as he has only served as trade minister since August 2015. Previously, he served as CEO of the investment committee of private equity fund Quvat Management. (ags)
