nergy and Mineral Resources Minister Sudirman Said hosted an open house gathering at his office on Monday to celebrate Idul Fitri with the ministry’s officials, employees, businesspeople and stake holders in the energy sector.
Accompanied by his wife, Astried Swastika Ayuningtyas, Sudirman welcomed guests at the ministry's auditorium wearing a brown batik shirt.
Prominent figures in the energy sector, such as Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Special Task Force (SKK Migas) officials and executives from multinational oil and gas companies, were among the guests, as were mining company executives.
State energy firm PLN's president director, Sofyan Basyir, meanwhile, was among the power players in attendance.
Monday's event was the second time Sudirman has held open-house gatherings since taking office in 2014. Prior to his appointment, he served as boss of PT Pindad president, a state-owned arms manufacturer. (ags)
