AKARTA: Newlyweds Samuel Zylgwyn and Efranda “Franda” Stefanus have decided to cancel their planned honeymoon in Greece.

The couple, who tied the knot on Aug. 8 in Bali, originally planned to go to Greece for their honeymoon after continuing their wedding celebrations in Surabaya.

However, Franda said that due to her husband’s prior work commitments, they had had to cancel their trip.

“We canceled our trip because Samuel is already scheduled to shoot a new series on the 16th,” Franda was quoted by kompas.com.

Despite her initial disappointment, Franda said there was little she could do and had decided to make the most out of her unfortunate situation. “It’s okay. If he’s working that means there’s more furniture that I can buy to fill the house up with!” she joked. — JP
