View all search resultshe Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has conducted a series of searches in Kendari and Jakarta, including at the office of the Southeast Sulawesi governor, allegedly related to a mining graft case.
"The searches are related to a corruption case regarding the issuance of mining permits [in the province]," KPK acting spokesperson Yuyuk Andriati said as quoted by Antara news agency in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Yuyuk added that in addition to the Southeast Sulawesi governor's office, the team of investigators also visited the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry and several residences in Jakarta. She did not reveal further details about the searches.
Despite the searches, the KPK has yet to name any suspects in the graft case. (dmr)
