Woman jumps into lake after being ignored by fiance

woman tried to end her life by jumping into Pamulang Lake in South Tangerang, Banten, for allegedly being frustrated with her fiance for ignoring her.
The 27-year-old woman survived after several anglers in the area pulled her out of the water. The incident took place at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, South Tangerang Police spokesman Adj.Comr. Mansuri said on Wednesday.
"We suspect she was frustrated with her relationship and so took the plunge into the lake," he said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The incident caught the attention of several anglers sitting around the lake. Some of them instantly jumped into the lake to help her. She passed out when she was pulled out, then locals took her to South Tangerang General Hospital for emergency treatment. (rin)
