ransjakarta bus passengers will soon be able to use a single card to ride the bus service in all corridors, an executive has said.

PT Transjakarta president director Budi Kaliwono said in a statement that the single-ticket policy would start being implemented on Jan. 11 next year.

Budi said the card system would apply to whole the network currently being used by PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek where each passenger needed to tap in and tap out to complete a trip. Each card could only be used by one passenger.

According to Budi, the new system will help the operator acquire more accurate data on Transjakarta passengers for analysis in order to implement future improvements.
