P

olice are to question all parties, including a man, who is believed to be a leader of a conservative group, and a woman, related to a video, which allegedly contained pornographic material, an official has said.

“We will question everyone regarding the content [of the video]. All of the people in the video will be questioned,” Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono said on Monday as reported by kompas.com.

The Anti-pornography Student Alliance earlier reported the video, which went viral on Saturday, to the police.

Argo said the police would respond to the report on the video by investigating the producers, uploaders and disseminators of the video.

“We will investigate whether or not the content is original,” he said, adding that if the content was original, the male and the female allegedly involved could be charged under Law 44/2008 on pornography.

The video contained a conversation between the male and the female and photos of them. The male in the photos is believed to be the leader of massive rallies against Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama for alleged blasphemy while the female is one of several activists who was arrested on Dec. 2 for alleged treason.(jun)
