resident Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo will vote in the Jakarta gubernatorial election at polling station 4 in Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday.
Presidential spokesman Johan Budi confirmed the plan, but said he did not know further details of the President’s schedule, Antaranews.com reported.
The polling station is located on Jl. Tanah Abang Timur Dalam in the parking area of the Indonesia National Council for Social Welfare building. There are 493 people registered in the final voter list at the polling station.
Originally from Surakarta, Central Java, Jokowi changed his residential address and became a resident of Jakarta after winning the 2012 Jakarta gubernatorial election.
Jakarta joins with 100 other parts of the country that will vote for new local leaders today.
