he complicated process of the acquisition of the land owned by state-owned forestry firm Perum Perhutani and state-owned plantation firm PTPN has slowed the Semarang-Batang toll road project in Central Jakarta.
Currently the regional government has talked to both state firms, but the process is not easy because the sale must be approved by the State-Owned Enterprise Ministry as well as the company's management, said Ganjar.
He said he had reported this problem to the President during a limited meeting at the State Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday.

"We also reported it to the State-Owned Enterprise Minister Rini Mariani Soemarno, who attended the meeting. It is the government's land, but it is taking so long," Ganjar said.
The land acquisition for the 75 km toll road was targeted to be finished in August 2016, but as of Monday, the progress was still 94 percent.
The Public Works and Public Housing Ministry has already started the road construction on the available land without waiting for the 100 percent completion of land acquisition.
However, according to ministry's Indonesian Toll Road Authority (BPJT), the cost of land clearing bloated to Rp 5.8 trillion (US$435 million) from the initial estimation of Rp 4.7 trillion.
BPJT head of funding Arif Haryono said that currently the ministry was preparing the budget amendment.
The central government’s target for the toll road operation will be sometime before Idul Fitri in June. (bbn)
