"The server is down," explained Sarah, a ticketing staff member. And there was no clear time line when the server would be back online.
Visitors who had waited since before 2 p.m. in a hope to enter the venues at 3 p.m. to watch the first scheduled show slowly grew impatient and started demanding the gates be opened. They finally entered at around 3:45 p.m.
The festival, which aims to return to its jazz roots this year, is scheduled to present world renowned performers, from Grammy Award-winning singer, composer and producer Ne-Yo to jazz icon Chick Corea Elektic Band, on Sunday. (ste)
