Soccer training, meanwhile, would be conducted in each apartment complex, involving the Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency and the Indonesia Football Academy for Youths, he said.

The young residents are also to be invited to see basketball matches for teenagers less than 18 of age on April 1 and 2 at the Bulungan sports center in South Jakarta.

The JRF was held for the first time last year. This year, it would also consist of events aimed to empower residents, such as cooking competitions, culinary festivals and creative economy training.

The administration would also organize a Betawi dance competition and a drawing competition for children aged 10 to 16. The winners would be invited for a tour to the Borobudur and Prambanan temples in Central Java. (dea)
